Introduction

Digital Kadence ("Digital Kadence," "DK," "we," or "us") builds and ships two product lines — DKHS, a field-service operations app for owner-operated home-service shops, and Automation Services, custom workflow builds for small and mid-sized businesses. This policy describes what data we collect through digitalkadence.com and our products, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

We collect less than most companies. We don't sell data, we don't run an ad business, and we don't plan to. If something on this page isn't clear, email hello@digitalkadence.com and a person will answer.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us:

  • Contact form submissions. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional company name, the body of your message, and the URL attribution parameters (UTM tags, internal campaign IDs, referring page) that traveled with you.
  • Scheduling. When you book a call via our scheduling page, the booking provider (Cal.com) collects the fields it needs to schedule the meeting (name, email, time slot, optional questions). That data is governed by Cal.com's privacy policy in addition to ours.
  • Product accounts. When you sign up for DKHS or engage with us on Automation Services, we collect the account information described in those product's terms (typically name, email, business details, and the operational data you choose to store in the product).
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata (IP address, user-agent, timestamp, request path) for security and performance monitoring.
  • Cookies and analytics. See the Cookies section below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule conversations.
  • Operate and improve DKHS and Automation Services for the customers who use them.
  • Send transactional and operational emails — replies, scheduling confirmations, billing notices, security notices. We don't run a marketing nurture sequence; if we add one later, you'll have a clear opt-in.
  • Understand which pages of digitalkadence.com are useful, in aggregate. We don't build per-visitor profiles.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

How We Protect Your Information

HTTPS across every public surface. Encrypted transport on every database connection. Access controls on our hosting and data infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase, Cloudflare). Where vendors offer encryption at rest, we use it. We minimize the number of people who can read customer data, and we log access where it matters.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a security incident affecting your data, we'll tell you promptly and honestly.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of named processors to operate the site and products. Each carries its own privacy policy and processes data on our behalf for the purpose listed:

  • Cal.com — scheduling and calendar booking.
  • Vercel — hosting, edge delivery, build pipeline, lightweight analytics.
  • Supabase — database and authentication for DKHS.
  • Cloudflare — DNS, content delivery, optional bot protection.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (replies, confirmations, billing notices).

If we add or change a processor in a material way, this list gets updated.

Cookies

digitalkadence.com uses cookies for two purposes: session continuity (so you stay logged in to product surfaces) and privacy-respecting analytics (aggregate page-view counts, no cross-site tracking).

You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; the public marketing site continues to work, though product surfaces that require sign-in will not.

Your Rights

You have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask for a copy in a portable format, and ask us to stop processing it for non-essential purposes (such as analytics).

To make a request, email hello@digitalkadence.com. We'll reply within 30 days, usually much sooner. We don't require a particular form or template — a plain-language email is fine.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for two years from the date of submission, or longer if they led to an ongoing relationship. Product account data is retained for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation to handle billing, support, and reactivation requests.

When data is no longer needed for the purpose we collected it, we delete or anonymize it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the products evolve. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes affecting how we handle existing customer data, we'll notify active customers by email.
