Do I need an iPad? Can I run this on Android tablets or phones?

The field app is iPad-first. The owner dashboard works on any modern browser — phone, laptop, desktop. Techs in the field need an iPad to run the workflow end-to-end.

How long does setup take?

Days, not weeks. We provision your tenant, import your services and pricing, set up your tech roster, and train your team. Most shops are taking real bookings within a week.

What if I'm running an enterprise fleet?

DK Home Service is built for owner-operated and multi-team shops — Solo for one-person operations, Standard for shops with a crew on the road. If you're running an enterprise fleet with dedicated dispatchers, multi-state operations, or franchise overhead, we may not be the right shape. We'll tell you that on the demo call, not after you've signed.

You also lock in the founding-ramp pricing (50% off Year 1, 25% off Year 2). The trade-off is honest: you're working with a product that's still maturing, and we'd rather hear it from you first.

Today, DK Home Service does not include: no public booking widget (customers call or text you to book), no customer self-service portal (you stay the relationship), no QuickBooks integration (export CSV, post manually for now), and no route optimization (you pick the order, DK Home Service dispatches it). These are on the roadmap. Not all of them will ship. We'll tell you which ones we're building before you sign.

Can I start on Solo and upgrade to Standard?

Yes. Email us when you're ready to hire your first tech — we'll switch your subscription to Standard at your next billing date. Any founding-Y1 or Y2 ramp you're partway through transfers at the same year mark. Your data, customers, and history stay put.

Are Stripe fees passed through?

Yes — on credit-card payments, as a transparent line item. Default is 3% on Visa and Mastercard, 3.5% on Amex. You can dial the surcharge down or turn it off entirely from your settings. CT, MA, ME, OK, and PR don't allow it — we won't let you turn it on in those states.

New sign-ups move to list price. Founding customers keep their Year 1 and Year 2 ramp — no retroactive change, no clawback, no 'introductory pricing ends' email six months in. If you sign now, your ramp is locked from day one through your Year 2.

How long does an engagement take?

Most engagements run 2-6 weeks depending on scope. The Discovery call sets the timeline before you commit — if a workflow can't ship in that window, we tell you why and what changes.

Do you offer ongoing support after the build?

Yes. Scoped support is part of every engagement — the same builders who shipped the workflow answer the support ticket. No escalation tier, no Tier-1 intern triage.

Can you integrate with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive?

Yes for the common CRMs. We've shipped against HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and a handful of niche ones. The Discovery call confirms your stack and what the integration shape looks like.

What if my workflow changes mid-engagement?

We pause and re-scope. We'd rather stop the build for a day than ship something that doesn't fit the new shape. Amendments are quoted before they run — no surprise hours, no scope creep.

Stack-agnostic. We've shipped on n8n, Make, custom Python, and direct API integrations. The right tool is the one you can support after handoff — we recommend based on your team, not our preferences.
